I want to start off by stating that everyone’s skin is different, and reacts uniquely to all products. Now, with that being said, I strongly believe Mario Badescu has made products for most skin types, from oily, to combination, to dry, to acne prone.
Also, there are lighter products for those with sensitive skin. (click on your skin type to find the products suited for you!) Here is my four step routine I have been religious with for the past month.
1. Seaweed Cleansing Soap: I decided on this cleanser because I really enjoy a bit of a scrub in my cleanser. I don’t wear makeup, but I go to the gym daily, so I want to make sure the sweat is removed well. I have combination skin, so this is perfect for not allowing my skin to oil-up in the heat. This step can occur multiple times a day, when your face needs a clean.
2. Aloe Vera Toner : I chose this toner specifically because it is alcohol-free. My skin is pretty sensitive, so alcohol tends to give me dry patches. This toner has aloe vera to sooth the skin, not dry it out!
3. Buttermilk Moisturizer: UPDATE: I’ve been using the AHA and Ceramide Moisturizer and it’s been better for my combination skin in the summer. I will use the Buttermilk when it’s dry, not humid! This moisturizer is very hydrating. When I am in the sun a lot, I love using this to bring moisture back to my skin, and even my complexion. I have tried the SPF Oil-Free Moisturizer, and I didn’t feel that my skin was being hydrated very well. \
4. Drying Lotion: After hearing so much craze about this product I finally caved and purchased it last week. AMAZING. If you are to choose one item of the list, go for this. This product vanishes acne overnight, and treats acne scars as well. It’s great for all skin types! I love this because a little goes a long way. You don’t need to add a serum all over your face, or astringent that dries out your face; This product takes care of all your blemishes overnight!
