Low-key Brands To Follow: Sunglasses

I am one of the most intense accessory-hoarder: Jewelry, bags, sunnies. In the past few months, I’ve taken great pleasure in finding very low-key brands to experiment with. Yes, Prada, Gucci, and SLP are still beautifully crafted, but it’s always exciting to find a gem outside of the big fashion-houses. Here are a few of my favorite, small brands that are turning heads this year.Screen Shot 2016-07-27 at 8.04.48 PM
Le Specs is my all-time favorite due to it’s affordability and comfort. They are crafted SO
well, and they use great materials for a lightweight feel. My favorite are the Spartans, and the Neros (bottom left, and top left). Below is Kendall Jenner in the Nero Le Specs Sunnies.

Once she rocked a pair of these hip glasses, the world fell in love. Their classic design is hipster-chic, and also, very comfortable. They have an array of colors and shapes that will leave you speechless. Screen Shot 2016-07-27 at 8.05.24 PMGentle Monster has just arrived at Nordstroms, and I’ve never been happier! Their retro, gold-infused sunnies have taken the fashion-world by storm this year. First introduced to this brand by Dani Song, I have fallen in love with their more -out-of-the-box designs like the fuchsia ones at the top left corner. Please take a look at their website and fall in love! Below is Miranda Kerr in Gentle Monster

Komono is also a more affordable variations to sunnies similar to Tom Ford, Raybans, and Prada. I love their color schemes and shapes. I am in love with their hexagon-shaped sunnies at the top right corner. This is definitely a brand to keep an eye out for!
